1. A titanium implant is surgically placed and then fuses with the jawbone.
2. An abutment, that fits over the portion of the implant that protrudes from the gum line.
3. A restoration, that is placed after the implant area is healed, in the form of a crown, bridge or denture.

Lilac Family Dental will refer you to a specialist for the surgical process of the dental implant. After the implant has healed, you will return to our office for your final restoration and follow up care.
